Welcome to a site where you can get lyrics to well-known songs with chords, as one of the main functions of the guitar is using it to play chords. It has been said that this is for lazy people who can't play melodies and just randomly strike the strings. I claim the opposite, because learning chords and actually playing them can require quite a lot of attention and concentration. For the music to sound good, one must place the fingers in exactly correct positions, or the strings will jangle. All this needs some skill, but I believe that anyone, independant of age, can learn the elementary chords. Good luck with that!
