Old Town walking tour
We
take transfer from port to the Freedom Square. We start with the walking
tour in Tallinn Old Town. First we go to the birthplace of Tallinn – Toompea,
Upper Town, see the Toompea Castle, Parliament House, Alexander Nevski
Cathedral, Dome Cathedral – one of the oldest and most important churches
in Estonia and a picturesque panorama of the Lower Town with its church
spires and sharp gables of buildings. From Neitsitorn (Virgin Tower), hidden
in the foliage of old trees. Then we go to the Niguliste Church and see
the fragment of Bernt Notke ´s 15th-century masterpiece, Dance Macabre.
we continue our trip into the heart of the old town along Pikk Jalg (Long
Leg) – we visit Pühavaimu (Holy Ghost Church), Great Guild House,
building of the Russian Embassy in Jungent style, the house of the Brotherhood
of the Blackheads, Town Hall square , Rae Pharmacy, Vanaturu kael (old
market place), Katarina’s Gateway – the handicraft street holding medieval
guild traditions, Viru Street – the artery of the City with many shops
and cafes.

After that we take a car tour. Starting from Tallinn port,then Mere Road,
Tallinn City Hall, walls and towers of Old Town, Baltic Railway Station,
Square of Towers, St. Charles Church, Estonian National Library, Kaarli
Road, Vabaduse Square, Tallinn City Government, St. John’s Church, Russian
Drama Theatre, Viru Hotel, Tallinn Department Store, Tallinn Art Academy,
Gonsiori Str., Television Building, Radio Building, Kadriorg, Kadriorg
