While viewing photos, panoramas, videos or other objects, it is interesting to know where they have actually been shot. And it would be more interesting to be able to present them on a map.
There are different programs for locating photos or other objects on the map.
But at the moment one of the most attractive applications for this purpose is Google Earth. It can zoom in your object of interest starting from a distant orbit of the Earth. And it manages to do it in quite an interesting and realistic way.
Google Earth uses high resolution satellite images for many regions - mostly for big cities.
Downloading the application
To use Google Earth you need a comparatively fast computer, a good graphics card, broadband Internet connection and Windows 2000, Windows XP or Mac OS X (10.3.9 +) operating system on your computer.
If you do not have Google Earth installed on your computer then you can get it from here (for free).
