„Maailm, milles me elame on inimese loodud. Ta on selle loonud tehnikavahenditega. Peaaegu kõik, mis meid ümbritseb, mida me kasutame ja käsitseme, kuulub tehnikasse, on tehnikatoode või tehnika abil kujundatud. Me elame ja liigume inimese loodud või tema vajadustele kohandatud maailmas, tehnika varal elamiskõlblikuks tehtud maakeral. Tegelik töö ja teaduse pingutused jääksid aga tulemusteta, kui neid ei tiivustaks kujutlusvõime ja loominguline fantaasia. Peab teadma, mida saavutada tahetakse ja milleks jõudu pingutada.“

2. – 7. juunini 2007 toimub Pärnumaal Tammiste Hooldekodus performance´i masinate valmistamise workshop. Osalevad: Alex Marcelo Mora (Chile), Fred Pinault (France/New York), Eric Letourneau (Canada), Yingmei Duan (China/Germany), Jill Mc Dermid alias Nengji(USA), Margus Tiitsma, Meeland Sepp, Rauno Teider, Rodrig Kokla, Kaarel Kütas, Katrin Piile, Eva Ikart, Liivi Tantaal, Erik Alalooga (kõik Eesti).
Juhendaja: Eesti Kunstiakadeemia IDK dotsent magister Erik Alalooga.
Kätketud vägi annab elutule mateeriale valmisoleku saada inimese kunstiliseks lisaorganiks. Ilma igasususe äratõukereaktsiooni kartuseta võtab inimene enda loodud organi omaks ning temaga elutervesse vahekorda astumise läbi õilistab mateeriat ning ülendab oma hinge. Valehäbi tundmata on ta valmis seda ühet demonstreerima arvuka publiku silme all. Publik omakorda vabaneb seeläbi eelarvamustest ning pealesurutud stereotüüpidest ja viib talle edastatud sõnumi algul vastutulijateni ning seeläbi kaudselt kogu inimkonnani. Meil jääb üle vaid tõdeda, et oleme taas oma eesmärgi saavutanud.
Kunstiliselt täiustunud inimtõu ja ootusäreva publiku sünergiline kohtumine saab teoks 8. juunil kell 16.00 Tartu Kunstnike Maja suures saalis, õuel ning endises monumentaalateljees.

Program for the workshop in Tammistu Hooldekodu, Pärnu 6.-7.06.2007 ESTONIA
The base of human communication is language. Language is produced by complex physical and biological processes and therefore by multiple forms of accumulated experience. I will try to realize in cooperation with students a sistem in which the word generates visual images basing on anti-poetry.The anti-poetry is performed by a collective group of students which will be prepared physically and mentally in order to be able of finding out the anti-poetry inside of each student and help them to express it. The results will be presented in a collective table performance.
This work bases on a concept about the role of the body in the performance:
1)Corpography: bodies and the making of place
(how have the politics of the body been enlisted in the production of political bodies?)
2) Corpodinamicus: bodies and movement(s)
(how does attention to the performing body help us understand political movements, the staging of power, the body politics of migration?)
3) Corpusterrorificus: bodies and terror
(how can we understand the production of terror and the ways in which it produces terrifying/terrified, fearful/fearless bodies?)
4) Corpusesteticus: poetics and politics
(what is the relation between aesthetic and ethical performance; what practices, theories, or models allow us to explore the politics and poetics of the body?).
This classification can be modified or supplemented during the process of the workshop.
Materials: Each student has to bring black clothes, highlighters/permanent markers in different colours and one roll of painter tape, tesa professional (50m x 50 mm)
