Palmse Hall |
Palmse in North Estonia's Lahemaa National Park in one of the most beatiful manorial
complexes in the country. Building of the complex started in 1677 and continued until the early
20th century.
Featured in the stamp is the two-storied baroque manor hall, which is surrounded by a garden
and large wooded park and enhanced by artificial lakes. At present the manor hall functions as
a museum.
