A delegation of Estonian athletes first took part in Olympic Summer Games in 1920 in Antwerp, where Alfred Neuland won a gold medal in lightweight weightlifting.

The best Estonian athletes will compete for medals also at the Games of the 27th Olympiad in Sydney.
