| | | | Organ of the Suure-Jaani Church
Built in 1937 this instrument is one of the most sophisticated organs by the Kriisa brothers. The frontispiece by the Pärnu master Johann Andreas Stein made in 1804, which is of great art historical value, has been preserved as well as the five ranks of pipes. The rest of wooden pipes were the work of the Kriisa brothers, metal pipes came mainly from the Laukhuff factory in Weikersheim, Germany, an economical solution in those days. The specifications were drawn by August Topman, the then Professor of the Tallinn Conservatoire. The Estonian composers, Artur and Villem Kapp as well as Mart Saar who came from the area all learnt to play on this organ and later gave recitals here, so it might be regarded as part of our national heritage. In 1998 the organ was renovated by Hardo Kriisa.
