What is “Eptesicus”?


“EPTESICUS” is an electronic newsletter on boreal bats (Chiroptera, Vespertilionidae) released by Sicista Development Centre since January 2001. It is an occasional newsletter based on the enthusiasm of voluntary contributors as well as supporters.

“Eptesicus” is free for everybody. It is available on the following website: www.hot.ee/eptesicus.

Print-out and/or distribution of “Eptesicus”, its separate issues or any other part of this website is allowed for everybody in educational purposes. In case of distributing “Eptesicus” or any part of it always indicate its bibliographic parameters.

In  marketing projects the users of “Eptesicus” must contact the editor to discuss their project, and to ask a written permisson about using the contents published in “Eptesicus”.

When referring to the materials published in “Eptesicus”, one should indicate the name(s) of the author(s), year of publication, title of the article and relevant number of “Eptesicus”. It is also useful to indicate the name of website where “Eptesicus” was found.
