Our cousin, Ellen Karcher, is now a N.J. Senator-in our home state!! (Ironically, this is the political position I ran for and won when I was 18 and sent as representative of my high school to "Boy's State"--except that this is the real thing!). Ellen is currently working on her doctoral degree in political science and serves in various public roles. She is my mother's brother's daughter. He, Allan Karcher, served as Speaker of the House of N.J. You can find all sorts of information about both Ellen and my Uncle by searching for their names on the internet! | |
