SECURITY

Introduction

Security is a cross-curricular topic which means that far too often it is left uncovered. The present study material is trying to cover a part of it. The subtopics here are Missing people and Emergency call.

Both parts have been constructed by similar principles - starting with audio items and listening-comprehension tasks; proceeding with vocabulary or grammar, rules and practice; going on with reading texts (authentic news material from BBC) and reading-comprehension tasks; and ending with revision exercises.

The material is composed for students in forms 6-9 and is suitable to use with any textbook.
