According
to popular division, the environs of Luhamaa belong to Luhamaa nulk, one
of the
twelve areas Seto folk have divided Setomaa into. To the right of the old
road are the Luhamaa Holy Ghost Orthodox Church (1929) and the cemetery.
The Luhamaa-Shumilkino international border checkpoint is on the Estonian-Russian
