4TH SLEEPWALKERS' STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL

AT TALLINN CINEMA HOUSE (KINOMAJA)

When the rosy disc of sun has hidden itself behind the thousand mountains and seas and when the days grow gradually darker, the shadows creep out of their bleak cages. They follow tamelessly the bodies that move about in the cool moonlight, demanding recognition and the right to exist like tiny tots making their first steps. They open quietly the creeky door of the cinema house and sneak in to throw themselves on the thin celluloid surface and wake up. The 4th Sleepwalkers' Student Film Festival is here to turn the magic shadows into an experience shared on the screen.

Five days of intensive program will culminate in choosing the best in the categories of animation, real life and fiction films. A special award will be given to the most outstanding work.
The special program contains student films awarded in Cannes and the best of the Oberhausen festival. „The Young and the Furious" come this time from Beijing. The program called „The Focus on Film School" is on the contrary crisply northern.
The winners of last year will be back.
The film school is focused on the ways of narrating in different genres.
The café of the cinema house will be a meeting place during one week.

Unforgettable experiences offered by young filmmakers will come from Argentina, Croatia, Denmark, England, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Korea, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Rumenia, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, United States of America and Estonia.

The mind knows that sleeping simply refreshes. Cinema nourishes.
