I worked as an engineer on ships of various types.

My last position is the chief engineer of the tanker-barge.

Translation Experience

Last five years I constantly was engaged in translation of technical texts from English into Russian (native). Areas of expertise: automotive, electronics (industrial and domestic devices: circuits, assembly procedures), AV equipment (domestic), computing, software (manuals, help files, Web contents), metallurgy (casting machines, installations at metallurgical works, applied standards), oil & gas (offshore drilling), printing facilities, various machinery, maritime industry (construction, building, operation, repair, sea conventions, etc.)

CAT Tools: TRADOS 6.5 LSP, MultiTerm iX, TRADOS MultiTerm 5.5, DejaVu, Transit 3.0 Satellite PE, SLDX Light.

CAD drafting Experience

I have wealthy experience and knowledge in working with the following applications (PART, ASSEMBLY and DRAWING modules): Pro/ENGINEER (advanced user), SolidWorks, CATIA v.5, Unigraphics, AutoCAD (advanced user), Autodesk MDT.
