The acronym "DL" stands for "Diaper Lover." A DL is a person who enjoys looking at and/or wearing diapers. Diapers my include home-made or make-shift diapers, cloth diapers, or disposables. Often people will have a preference for cloth over disposable or disposable over cloth, it's an individual decision.

Some people prefer to simply wear but not use the diaper. Others may choose only to wet them, others wet and mess their diapers.

For some people, diapers are a sexual fetish, others may enjoy the feeling, others the security or convenience. Some may need to wear diapers for medical reasons but have come to enjoy their look or feel.
