The tip/tilt mirror assembly, SBIG AO7
The mirror is held in place by thin copper cross shaped holder, and is pretensioned from the backside by small screw. There are 8 rare earth magnets glued to the mirror (in stacks of 2). Below the magnets are coils, they seem to be without magnetic core (im not sure about this). All in all the assembly is simple, something similar can be made with almost no special tools from diagonal mirror and some old hard drives for the magnets. Frequency voltage converter (LM2907N) probably allows easy control with unmodified PC soundcard.
