The 28th of October in 2000 was the day in history of Tallinn's tram when after a long period a new line was opened. The network hadn't change since 1962. To be honest, no new road was built since the circle on Vana-Lõuna Street and direct connection between Pärnu Road and Kopli branches already existed already before opening the new line.

Kopli 5 Vana-Lõuna

The 5th line operates on week-days. The schedule is harmonized with train time-table on Baltic Railway Station.

In rush-hours there are six cars on this route. Interval is approximately ten minutes.
